I recently had my pool inspected - and certified by Thereza. She is thorough, and will give you a clear indication of changes that need to be made - and I had a few. I did stress about it. But, its the law. Whether we think its a crazy one (as I do) is of no consequence.

Smart Pool Safety have been certifying pools in Body Corporate complexes for me for a number of years. Thereza contacts me every year to book in a compliance check well before it is due and certification is received within 48 hours if not on the day. She offers helpful advice regarding any repairs or updates needed. She also suggested a Trespass Proof Fence , referred me to a Contracotr, and that instantly solved this problem in one complex. After doing an extension to my pool area, I needed to get it re-certified.  I found Smart Pool Safety on Google.  Thereza replied quickly and organised a time to come inspect.  She kept in touch on the day to let me know when she would arrive.  The inspection went very smoothly and I received a copy of the certificate later that day.
